In 1991, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/Startseite_1\">GSA Messger\u00e4tebau GmbH<\/a> was founded, which builds measuring devices and accessories <strong>(PGP system &#8211; personal hazardous substance<\/strong> sampling system) for the measurement of workplaces under <strong>license<\/strong>. These were developed by Institut f\u00fcr Arbeitsschutz of the Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV) or IFA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br>These <strong>licensed GSA products for measuring of harmful substances at the workplace <\/strong>include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FAP for fibrous dusts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FSP2 for the dust fractions A-dust at 2L\/min<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FSP10 for the dust fraction A-dust at 10L\/min<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GGP for total dust  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GGP-U for total dust and gas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GSP for the dust fraction E-dust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EA for simultaneous measurement of A-dust and E-dust<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EA-SR for welding fumes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are <strong>personal systems<\/strong> that have been developed for <strong>use at the workplace.<\/strong>  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>PGP system<\/strong> <strong>(Personengetragenes hazardous substance<\/strong>-Probenahmesystem <strong>) <\/strong>is subject to the design of the functionality and is licensed by the <strong>IFA (Institut f\u00fcr Arbeitsschutz of the German Social Accident Insurance)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The corresponding <strong>sampling system <\/strong>must be set up for each measurement of a pollutant load. This requires a <strong>sampling pump <\/strong>that can generate the necessary <strong>volume flow<\/strong>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/Startseite_1\">GSA Messger\u00e4tebau<\/a> offers various models to measure different substances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why is a PGP system required?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>PGP system<\/strong> <strong>(personal hazardous substance<\/strong> sampling system) is required to carry out <strong>measurements of harmful substances at the workplace<\/strong>. As soon as hazardous substances are used in work processes or can arise, a <strong> <\/strong>Risk assessment and a safety concept make sense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The employer is obliged to ensure the protection of its employees and to<strong> minimize or exclude health hazards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the substance, the <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">occupational limit value<\/span> (<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">OEL<\/span>)<\/strong> also comes into play as part of these safety measures. The <strong>OEL<\/strong> describes the maximum permissible concentration of a <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>of a pollutant at the workplace<\/strong><\/span>. Compliance with this value can be checked using our <strong>GSA<\/strong> <strong>measuring devices<\/strong>. This allows the safety measures to be monitored and, if necessary, optimized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Which GSA measuring devices are suitable?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GSA is particularly specialized in the field of <strong>particle measurements of dusts<\/strong>. The<strong> FSP, GSP and GGP systems<\/strong> are used for the various <strong>particle measurements of dusts<\/strong>, depending on the requirements of the substance to be measured.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FSP system &#8211; for sampling A-dust<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The <strong>FSP system<\/strong> for particle measurements of the respirable dust fraction (A-dust) is combined with a fine dust measuring device, depending on requirements for a volume flow of 2 or 10 l\/min.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>measuring device<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG10-2-SG10-2-sampler-battery-tube-guide-charger_1\">SG10-2A<\/a> is particularly suitable for measuring the particle fraction of <strong>A-dust<\/strong> with high volume flows. With the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/PGP-FSP-10-FSP-10-cyclone-universal-sampler-attachment-clip-suction-funnel\"> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">FSP10<\/span> sampling system<\/a>, it is also possible to test <strong>smaller dust particle quantities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>GSP system &#8211; for sampling E-dust<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>GSA<\/strong> <strong>measuring devices<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG5200-SG-5200-sampler-battery-battery-unit-silicone-tube-guide-540g\">SG5200<\/a> and SG5100ex are particularly suitable for the <strong>GSP system<\/strong> for <strong>sampling the inhalable dust fraction (E-dust)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG5100ex-sampler-incl-charger\">SG5100ex<\/a> can also be measured precisely in potentially explosive atmospheres.
