{"id":10922,"date":"2021-01-15T11:12:00","date_gmt":"2021-01-15T10:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.gsa-messgeraete.de\/coronavirus-air-sampling-indoors-with-the-vira-pore-virus-sampling-cassette\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T12:43:12","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T10:43:12","slug":"coronavirus-air-sampling-indoors-with-the-vira-pore-virus-sampling-cassette","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.gsa-messgeraete.de\/en\/coronavirus-air-sampling-indoors-with-the-vira-pore-virus-sampling-cassette\/","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus air sampling indoors with the Vira-Pore virus sampling cassette"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In the acute <strong>pandemic situation<\/strong> with a further increase in <strong>corona cases<\/strong>, we offer the new <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/air-sampling-coronavirus\">Vira-Pore virus sampling cassette<\/a><\/strong> for<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/air-sampling-coronavirus\">air measurement of coronaviruses<\/a> <\/strong>in <strong>indoor air<\/strong> for<strong> laboratory testing<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n\n\n<p><br>By using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/air-sampling-coronavirus\">Vira-Pore virus sampling cassette<\/a>, the <strong>room air <\/strong>can be <strong>tested for coronaviruses on a regular, daily basis. <\/strong>After the laboratory analysis, there is certainty as to whether coronaviruses, which can cause dangerous infections, were present in the sampled room air within a group of people or only in individuals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This special sampling cassette was developed and validated as part of a scientific <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/Rutgers-University-Report-Coronavirus-Sampling-GSA-Messgeraetebau\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/Rutgers-University-Report-Coronavirus-Sampling-GSA-Messgeraetebau\">study<\/a> at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, using the GSA measuring devices SG10, the predecessor of our <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG10-2-SG10-2-sampler-battery-tube-guide-charger\" target=\"_blank\">SG10-2<\/a><strong>. <\/strong>It is the <strong>only scientifically validated method<\/strong> for sampling coronaviruses in indoor air to date.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">GSA measuring devices suitable for air measurements with the Vira-Pore virus sampling cassette<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the <strong>GSA measuring devices<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG10-2-SG10-2-sampler-battery-tube-guide-charger\">SG10-2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG10-2-SG10-2-sampler-battery-tube-guide-charger_1\">SG10-2A<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/SG12_1\">SG12 <\/a>and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-messgeraete.de\/air-sampling-coronavirus\">Vira-Pore virus sampling cassette<\/a>, <strong>indoor rooms<\/strong> can be regularly <strong>tested<\/strong> <strong>for coronaviruses<\/strong> or other RNA viruses in a <strong>simple<\/strong>,<strong> time-saving<\/strong> and<strong> inexpensive way<\/strong>. This is important if people frequently use the same rooms together for work, study or other reasons and can then become infected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>unique advantage<\/strong> is that it can be used <strong>in shift work<\/strong> or <strong>during office work<\/strong>. They can also be used in <strong>care facilities<\/strong> or <strong>during lessons<\/strong> in <strong>classrooms<\/strong>, for example. Our GSA measuring devices work so quietly that work can continue without disruption. The filter sample obtained is then evaluated by specialized laboratories. We are happy to provide details of laboratories that can carry out these tests on request.      <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Advantages of the Vira-Pore
