They can be found in <strong>surface sealants<\/strong>, <strong>adhesives<\/strong> or <strong>furniture paints<\/strong>. Almost everyone is familiar with the specific smell of new furniture or after a renovation. Especially with <strong>adhesives<\/strong> for floor coverings, coordination with the floor covering is important. Both products individually do not release pollutants, but in the (wrong) combination, harmful substances are released. For this reason, sufficient attention should be paid to the application and processing instructions.       <\/p>\n\n<p><br\/><\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What are the health risks of solvents?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The release of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>solvents into the ambient air<\/strong><\/span> can lead to absorption via the lungs. Common symptoms that can occur as a result of <strong>solvent exposure <\/strong>are <strong>headaches, dizziness<\/strong>, <strong>breathing difficulties<\/strong> or <strong>even allergic reactions<\/strong>.   <\/p>\n\n<p>As a rule, the symptoms disappear with vigorous and repeated <strong>ventilation<\/strong>. <br\/>Probably the greatest danger is posed by unconscious absorption, as the <strong>pollutants<\/strong> are <strong>often not noticeable to the senses<\/strong> and, as a result, prolonged exposure takes place before the exposure is recognized as such.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>In<\/strong> most cases, this can be remedied <strong>by intensive ventilation<\/strong>.
