This is how E-dust is measured at the workplace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <br><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>E-dust Measurement of dust exposure completed &#8211; what&#8217;s next?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the measurement is complete, the results are analyzed. This <strong>pollutant analysis<\/strong> is offered by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsa-ratingen.de\/en\/\">GSA Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Schadstoffanalytik<\/a>. The samples taken on site are analyzed for their components and their quantity is determined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on the pollutants, there are different limit values that must be complied with. <strong>Checking these limit values<\/strong> is important for <strong>occupational health and safety<\/strong>. If the values cannot be complied with, new or more extensive <strong>protective measures<\/strong> must be set up and implemented.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Definition of E-dust?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>term &#8220;dust&#8221;<\/strong> generally refers to tiny solid particles that are very finely dispersed in the air. These can be dispersed in the air by turbulence. In order to make a more precise distinction, the size diameter of the particles is considered. The<strong> E-dust<\/strong> fraction is the inhalable dust, i.e. the dust particles that enter the lungs via the primary respiratory tract.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why measure E-dust?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Preserving the health of employees at the workplace is the employer&#8217;s duty. It is necessary to monitor this. The Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherung (DGUV) and the relevant employers&#8217; liability insurance association provide information on<strong> protective measures and the limit values to be observed<\/strong>. They also provide information on the appropriate protective measures.
