Cuando se inhalan, estas part\u00edculas de polvo pueden penetrar en los alv\u00e9olos (sacos de aire de los pulmones). El peligro es que las part\u00edculas se depositan en los pulmones y causan irritaci\u00f3n, lo que conduce a la cicatrizaci\u00f3n del tejido pulmonar. A largo plazo, puede desarrollarse la llamada \u00abneumoconiosis\u00bb. Las part\u00edculas de polvo alveolar suelen tener un tama\u00f1o de hasta 10 \u00b5m.    <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desde <strong>el 1 de enero de 2005, se aplica en toda Europa un valor l\u00edmite <\/strong>para la<strong> fracci\u00f3n de polvo fino<\/strong> <strong>PM10 <\/strong>de 50\u00b5m\/m\u00b3 en relaci\u00f3n con el valor medio diario. Este valor no puede superarse m\u00e1s de 35 veces al a\u00f1o. PM10 describe el di\u00e1metro aerodin\u00e1mico -es decir, el tama\u00f1o- de las part\u00edculas de polvo. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Aparici\u00f3n de polvo fino<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay numerosos <strong>\u00e1reas de trabajo<\/strong> donde se producen part\u00edculas finas. Pueden ser plantas de llenado, talleres u otras instalaciones de producci\u00f3n, por ejemplo. En estos casos, se aplica la <strong>salud y seguridad en el<\/strong> trabajo para reducir el riesgo para los trabajadores afectados. Puedes encontrar m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n al respecto en nuestros art\u00edculos sobre <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.gsa-messgeraete.de\/es\/medidas-de-proteccion-en-el-area-de-trabajo\/\">salud y seguridad en el trabajo.<\/a><br>Sin embargo, la contaminaci\u00f3n por polvo fino no s\u00f3lo puede producirse en el \u00e1rea de trabajo, sino tambi\u00e9n en la vida cotidiana.<br><br>Aqu\u00ed hay una amplia gama:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>en plantas industriales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>en el tr\u00e1fico rodado<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>al pasar la aspiradora<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>durante las obras de renovaci\u00f3n del apartamento\/casa, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como somos conscientes de los da\u00f1os para la salud, sobre todo por exposici\u00f3n prolongada, es importante minimizarlos. En el \u00e1rea de trabajo, esto est\u00e1 regulado por la evaluaci\u00f3n de riesgos y las medidas de protecci\u00f3n que contiene. Pero, \u00bfc\u00f3mo protegerse en la vida cotidiana?
